My name is Crystal, and I’m an intuitive Reiki Master and empath. My journey into Reiki began years ago, during a transformative period in my life. I had committed to my recovery journey ten years ago, but despite my efforts, I continued to grapple with severe digestive issues for four years. Numerous tests indicated that I was healthy, yet I couldn't understand why I was losing my gallbladder, taking six daily medications, and feeling increasingly unwell. After a particularly challenging procedure, I woke from anesthesia to the doctor’s reassuring words that everything looked great. Yet, I was overwhelmed and began to cry, realizing that something had to change.

At that time, I was also dealing with a job I no longer felt passionate about, staying with family after a painful breakup, and suffering from the side effects of medication. Everything felt overwhelming, and I sensed that I needed a new direction. One day, a quiet voice in my head suggested, “try Reiki.” Though I had heard of Reiki before, I had no idea it would become the cornerstone of my healing journey.

I reached out to a dear friend who connected me with a Reiki Master. My initial research left me uncertain about what to expect, but my first session was a pivotal moment. The practitioner made me feel safe and cared for, even as I felt flu-like and exhausted afterward. I honored my body by resting, drinking water, and taking a soothing bath. The next morning, I woke up feeling noticeably lighter, as if a weight had been lifted. It was then I knew Reiki would become an integral part of my self-care routine.

As I continued with Reiki, I began to heal and release years of absorbed energy from others. My body improved, I came off all six medications, and I left behind the cycle of medical treatments. Enrolling in a Reiki training course felt like a rediscovery rather than learning something new—I felt as though I was remembering a skill I had known before.

Since then, I’ve left my government job, moved to the Colorado Springs area, and started my own Reiki practice. Reiki has become a central part of my life, allowing me to share its healing power with people, animals, plants, and Mother Earth. I am grateful for this divine gift and cherish the opportunity to use it to enrich the lives of others. Reiki has transformed my life in ways I could never have imagined, and I am living my very best life because of its healing power.
